Paddington From Peru is a charity dog art print, created to support rescue dogs and raise awareness for the incredible work of Colitas Con Canas. Available as a limited edition collectors print and an Ambassador version.
A RESCUE STORY THAT GOES BEYOND SURVIVAL
Paddington's story began on the streets of Peru, where survival is never guaranteed. Rescued by Mirelle, his life changed, but his story didn't end there.
Because rescue is only the beginning.
What follows, healing, trust, and safety, is where the true transformation happens. Paddington's story is a powerful reminder of what's possible when kindness, determination and community come together.

SUPPORTING RESCUE DOGS THROUGH ART
Inspired by Paddington, Mirelle now helps other dogs still waiting for their chance.
Through her work with Colitas Con Canas, funding and awareness are helping dogs like Tod, Ollie and Millie find safety, care, and loving forever homes.
This is where art with purpose becomes something more.
As a keen dog lover, and owner of Dell, a rescued ex-working sheepdog I fully understand the importance of second chances for dogs in need.
I reached out to Mirelle to suggest a collaboration that would support the work she is doing and she gratefully accepted.
And so the painting of Paddy was created, with the original donated to Mirelle as a thank you and keepsake. The charity artwork prints of the original have been produced to directly support Mirelle's mission.
50% of proceeds of sales form every print will be donated directly to Colitas Con Canas to help rescue many more street dogs, enabling them to receive the care and safety they need, and hopefully, like Paddy, to find their own happy ever after.

As an artist, realism is more than detail, it's about connection.
Connection to the subject.
Connection to their story.
Connection to something bigger than ourselves.
In a world that can feel overwhelming, I believe in choosing to create something positive. This artwork is about:

And the belief that small actions can create real change.
With Paddington, there's a quiet softness in his expression...he is looking to the light with happiness and hope. There is also resilience there, a sense of everything he has been through but has let go of to move forward and embrace the wonderful life he now has. There is a message in that for us all. .
That's what I wanted this rescue dog art print to convey.
Because when we connect emotionally, we care. And when we care, we take action.
