considerations

To start the process you will need to consider the size and shape you want for your artwork.  Where you wish to display your picture may have bearing on this - is it required to be a striking focal point on the wall or an elegant accent on a side table.   Your image may also dictate which size and shape  would work best for you, Vicky is happy to make recommendations based on the reference photos you have, with no obligation.  For optimal results, providing a clear, high-quality reference image is essential.  This is particularly important for pet portraits, where natural light (not direct sunlight) is always best - outside or by a window work very well.  Also, to ensure Vicky gets a feel for the character of your pet, consider their pose and expression.  Lastly, always ensure that your subjects eyes are clearly visible, they are the key to their character and can make or break the final picture.  Bear in mind, the better the reference photograph, the better the picture Vicky will be able to create for you.

Sadly, some of your pets will no longer be with you but Vicky will use her skill and experience to work with any images you have of them.
